GTFS Read And Show

Current Version 0.1.6 (alpha)

This android application has been built in response to a proramming competition sponsored by the Valley Transit Authority of Santa Clara, California (VTA). The competition goal is to build a mobile application using the General Transit Feed Specification data as published by VTA. The deadline was September 12th, 2011 but I only recieved notice that the app was not functioning. Funny thing was that they changed their data file on Sept 8th or something, put in "s for all of the data entries, didn't mention a thing about it, and expected my newly developed program to just work... Well, now it does... quick fix but made me lose my entry...

1. Show Map: Properly handle screen orientation change.
2. Show Map: Fix bounding box error.
3. About: Check for updates.
4. About: Ratings and Comment.
5. About/Data Management: Show memory footprint.
6. Routes: Figure out exactly what the different sequences are for.
7. Routes: Make it more easy to navigate.
8. Data Management: prompt to okay to download.
9. Data Management: allow for more sources than just VTA.
10. Data Management: allow for export of aggregate route lists.
